Innovative Future: The 7th Annual Embrace Fashion Show

The theme innovative future is such a broad theme and had my mind racing when trying to think of a design as a designer because when I think of the future millions of ideas come to mind and almost makes my brain feel like it’s about to explode. With this design I decided to add some of my personal insecurities into it and step outside the box.

After being a mom for five years I come to you to say I’m walking this runway with a huge smile to embrace these teeth that I hated before. I will show a small portion of my skin because those marks are art. I also will clap my hands to myself for being brave enough to share my story through my garment. I would also love for everyone to join me and clap for myself and other mothers who are brave enough to give birth and fight our insecurities for our children.

I made this dress from scratch and shedded tears by saying goodbye past and HELLO NEW AND IMPROVED FUTURE.
