Project 5 (Hands On Visual Display Promotion Assignment)
Business Description:
To gain real world experience in learning the basics planning and executing promotions of apparel presentation with mannequins and home store display. There are several parts be sure to read both. This is great experience to create content to keep your customer in mind, show them you care and offer them ways to engage and stay connected when the unexpected comes up.
Note: During face – to – face classes (non-pandemic) students would usually use the book store while online students would seek out a retailer to allow a visual display promotion.
Upshift Swap Shop is open to students utilizing the space to create a visual display Tuesday – Thursday 12-4pm, please arrange with Lindsay at lleno@madisoncollege.edu

Explain how the display is related to other merchandise adjacencies
How is the display intended to sell product as a silent seller
Dress a mannequin and complete the appropriate adjacencies. Changes can be made using software for example adobe illustrator and the snap fashun library plug ins. and other drawings to create a virtual display for online and social media posts when a location cannot be open for business. Note: OR you can use Upshift to show a before picture and an after pic of your promo.
If staying in for Covid create a home store display with before and after changes using software and drawings to create ideas for online and social media posts when a location cannot be open for business.
Project 6 (DISPLAY IDEA NOTEBOOK (DIN) )
Business Description:
This notebook will become a great reference for displays that you may want to create in the future. Start collecting things that you see in magazines, take pictures of ideas, save web links etc now for your notebook. You may be able to classify them now or later for your book.
